Custom Strider Hiryu ver 2.0by ~SomaKun

Traditional Art / Sculpture / Figurative

I wasn't too happy with my first strider. I kind of rushed it. It was mainly to put a step-by-step process for Playstation magazine. This time around I took the time to put some work into it. The only big thing Was sculpt the hair with Aves Apoxie Sculpt. I also sculpted a litte of the leg wrap to go over some of the pants. The pants came with the figure, I just painted over it. The belt, shirt details and sword blade, hook blade were also sculpted using Apoxie. The handles were recycled parts from weapons and pieces of the weapons that came with the figure. Even the suction cup came with the figure and I found a way for it to attatch to the hook so it can hang on non porus surfaces. I used a wired ribbon for the waistband and scarf. The shoulder straps were made using foam sheets. I hand painted everything with Vallejo and Tamiya paints

I'd buy two. Another because this figure is amazing. Hiryu is awesome, quite possibly the best charcter Capcom has ever created (besides Megaman).
